If you believed Wilder would defeat Wlad, I'm sure you'd pay a lot of money to watch it.
No I wouldn't. Wilder is a virtual unknown and he sucks. He would need to KO wlad violently and in highlight reel fashion and MAYBE the rematch is on PPV.
I am not paying any additional money to see either wlad or wilder fight. Ever.
Only American standards matter on this site, smarten up.
When it comes to Heavyweight Boxing? Only American standards do matter.
Because the history writers are going to link greatness with America in terms of boxing's flagship division. That's why Lewis ensured his legacy in the States. Don't think that the Klitschkos are actually some sort of 'revolution' for Eastern Euros..........even now the Eastern Euros are lacking prospects at HW just a generation later.........HW Boxing will be ruled by either a Brit or American.....Eastern Europe's Heavyweight run lasted as long as the Klitschkos.
So history will not be kind to them unless they create something in America.
Yep, people are stuck on PPV as if they think that's the standard format for watching boxing around the world.... He is making ridiculous money without US PPVs
How do you know?
His contract with RTD is quite small compared to other fighters, he gets something like ***8364;750k per fight from them I think Boente once said, so he's mostly relying on ticket sales to maximize income - and I've been on the end of receiving a free ticket for a Wlad fight before. It happens quite often. He apparently also relies on % from advertising between rounds which is most likely why he carries his opponents in every fight.
There's a reason why Wlad wants to fight in America against Jennings, and him signing a contract with HBO - it's in the hope that he can secure a PPV fight. If you think there's a fighter in the world who wouldn't wish to fight on PPV then you quite simply no nothing about boxing.
