No I didnt. Because Im not like you, I dont ride for these boxers, Im not in love with these dudes.

Case in point, you couldnt even bring yourself to answer my question. You went from riding Pac to riding his promoter.

    You people are sick.

You factor in the discount on the first half a million and the actually tax burden is around 35%. And that's even without considering the different tax deductions that lower the taxable income.
we're talking multi-million dollar income here dummy.

Oscar can butter up to Bob as much as he wants, but Cotto is the one that decides his own fate.

After the JMM deadening, money is definitely harder to come by; still, Pacquiao has name value and HBO is willing to air him. Have a loyal person, who understands the parameter of contracts, negotiate with all of the relevant parties on your behalf and take the shot.

Macau didn't do business with Top Rank because they had any interest in Bob Arum; they did business with Top Rank because that was how they would get Shiming and Pacquiao. Why not cut the middleman?

Money may be an issue but Pacquiao could have his loyal person work to secure the fight, hire a promotional company that he likes to handle the logistics, leverage his own star power to secure a quality site fee, front the costs for the event, and make his own money off of the 1-3 years it'll take for the residuals to come in.

As long as he doesn't take another L, he's still good for $30m-$40m in PPV revenue, imo. More work, but the money's there.
Pac doesnt have the energy or time for all that, for very uncertain payoff. Lol at cutting Arum out of Macau, how naive can you get? Its that type of pie in the sky thinking that ruins careers, when amateurs think they can dabble in mega promotion. Couple of years ago business advisors like you would have counseled Pac to sign with 50 cent

Pacquiao walked away, as he's done in every negotiation ever put forward, for his silly concern that possibly giving up a vial of blood would catastrophically hamper his performance.
IF he agreed to all of these in 2009, what happens to I don't work with Bob Arum?

good point. Pac will make this fight happen from hell or high water, but if floyd asks ridiculous lowballing offers then we know FLoyd is pricing himself up. We'll know who is the coward of this soap opera that keeps on going lol

No not yet for Pac, but Floyd's son thinks his own father is though. That's already a fact.
