AMIR KHAN produced the kind of display that will have Floyd Mayweather running for the hills - and that's the problem.

The Bolton ace brilliantly took American Devon Alexander to the cleaners here in this WBC welterweight clash with all three judges ruling the two time world champ was the unanimous and deserved winner.

It was superb stuff from the 28 year-old who carried out trainer Virgil Hunter's cautious yet clinical game plan to perfection. Alexander just couldn't get near him, picked off by jabs and cracking combinations.

Khan has done nothing to deserve Mayweather. Beating Collazo and Alexander? Collazo was fighting 8 rounders after losing to berto and before KOing "Vicious" Victor Ortiz lol. Alexander got spanked by Porter and lost his belt. His best bet is to fight Brook and get a nice pay day. The last time Mayweather has fought somebody w/o a belt was Mosley in 2010. By the time of the next fight it'll be 5 years.

Mayweather v pac, Thurman v Khan .See not everyone will stand off Khan and let him run the show , when Devon did get close he didn't have the know how or punch to trouble Khan.Good tactics from Virgil well carried out by Khan but Thurman ,Kell , Bradley and maybe even Porter would be a different prospect as they are hitters and wouldn't give him the time he needs , Devon did !

If Mayweather fight doesn't happen, I hope Khan does go for the Danny Garcia rematch. There is nothing to gain career-wise from beating Kell Brook other than an alphabet title. Kell Brook needs to fight another notable opponent, he is still a nobody.

Oscar don't call the shots of who Mayweather fights. Floyd should play the Oscar game on Oscar by not choosing to give Khan & Oscar a payday so that Khan is left to fight Brooks as Promoter Hearns stated. No PAC no Khan! Then pull an Arum to only fight an opponent that is under Mayweather Promotions.

I don't think Khan has any intention of fighting Brook. I also don't think he has any intention of facing a top guy until he gets a Pac or Mayweather fight.

If no Pac or Mayweather, I could see him fighting a Guerrero type of guy.
