Khan still beat a very game Diaz, who many people think beat Porter, and this was after Khan lost to Garcia, so his performance was understandable. He is now back to his imperious boxing best.

Interesting to see no one mentioned a single name at welter that could outbox Khan. I agree with you guys, I don't think there is a single person at welter who could out box Khan.

So many pundits had it 50/50 with Alexander, and Khan won every single round. Easily the greatest boxing display of the year. Period.
lol at making excuses for scraping by diaz. the same diaz thurman knocked out and schooled by porter in the rematch.. and 50/50? look at the master thread 70% picked khan to win

Because he hasn't fought at Welterweight until this year so nobody can give a definitive example with proof.

But the fact is he has been knocked out at lower weights and i suspect there are a few Welterweights who can and probably will knock him out should they fight. If you're getting knocked out then the reality is that you have been outboxed.

If Garcia moves up to 147, then we have a definite example of a WW who can outbox him...because he did already.

why everyone being so specific? im assuming op means outfighting and sure i agree. devon lost because he is one dimension outboxer who couldnt muscle his way in or do the infighting that would destroy khan. khan is at the top of the game in terms of outboxing but he too is also one dimension so a strong brave infighter will give him troubles if not destroy him.

Orthodox boxers are his kryptonite. They don't have to outbox him to beat him.

Theoretically he can be knocked out, for sure. Anybody can be, if they are hit cleanly.

But, the point is, in his last two performances, Khan has finally stopped taking those unnecessary risks that put him in a position to get cleanly hit. Roach said, Khan could've schooled Garcia off the jab alone. But the problem with Khan is, he had no discipline.

Now that he has, he is going to be very very very difficult to beat. And anyway, take out the fraudulent Petereson win, Khan has 2 losses. Big deal.

Khan will rematch and defeat Garcia. Easy work. But there are far more dangerous welters out there. None of them can outbox Khan. No way. They will try to KO him, but none will come close to outboxing him.

One of the best things Hunter has done for Khan is get him to come in heavy. Before he was rehydrating 5 lbs, now he goes up 15lbs. He is no longer at weight disadvantage coming in to every fight. BIG DEAL.

Well you're the one being specific by choosing to just include boxing on the outside.

Everyone who disagreed was being less specific and talking more in general about the many different techniques included in the term 'boxing'.

Of course you can, just have the fight in Washington, get a refs that can deduct a point or two from him for pushing and yeah be on some PED that you forgot to mention to the testing organisation.

Can anyone at 147 outbox Khan? I don't think so. He is starting to look like a welter Andre Ward.

IMO, no one can outbox Khan. No one has come close to doing it. If he stays smart, Khan is incredible.

Khan hasn't been outboxed since he was 17 against Kindelan, one of the great amateurs.
