1 million ppv buys to break even. Floyd did 700-800k against maidana and Guerrero so how did he do big business? Showtime lost money. They're the investor.

Gross revenue doesn't necessarily equate to profit. An event can have 250 mil gross profit but if promotion n guarantees equalled to 251 million then the event is a flop. When you own a businessand at the end of the month you had 25k gross revenue but you profit margin is negative you think your business will stay open?

why folks on this site continue to be oblivious to what's going on is beyond me.

At some point, Manny will need to take charge and make things happen with his career. Arum has his own agenda and as long as it remains unchecked, the longer we will be subjected to this constant double-talk. And the longer Pac will be used as a pawn in Arum's miserable game.

                I honestly believe the following:

                - Pac wants the fight to happen
                - Floyd wants the fight to happen
                - Floyd really wants nothing to do with Arum (Past experiences) but will put it aside to fight Pac.
                - Arum is not going to work with Haymon
                - Haymon is not going to work with Arum

What we have here is a stalemate and in spite of all the published BS, this fight is not going to happen as long as Arum is in the picture.

However you should take the word of 3rd party people who know about the negotiations. For instance, les moonves president of CBS confirmed arum is the one trying to get tue deal done! Also yahoo sports confirmed arum is trying to get it done and mayweathers side doesn't really want it! So you can believe the b.s. Damage control from mayweather or you can believe people who have no reason to lie, and les moonves who would have a reason to lie is even saying it lol

This is why I don't bother with them. Some people don't want to know the truth. Even Moonves confirmed Arum is trying to get this done. If it wasn't for Arum making the effort and going over Mayweathers and Haymons heads we wouldn't have ever even gotten this far. Arums the one trying to make this. It's already confirmed by Floyds boss.

the fight was made to help pacquiao fight to pay of his taxes. It was a tax free fight. Pacs $20 or $25 million got reduced down to $7mil one the filipines and the united states chewed in for taxeas owed. Then the top rank fees killed it
