I agree. If indeed that Pacquiao/Mayweather fight is to be made, a good date would be May 2nd.

However if the fight falls apart and doesn't happen then Cotto/Canelo should be on May 2nd. More than just being a Mexican holiday it is the biggest date for boxing.

I think Cotto probably wants to make the fight in June, but Arum will probably advise him to make it in May, but I hope Cotto sticks to his guns and not let that redhead brat push him around at the negotiation table.
