I didn't really care all that much that he dropped the belt to not fight Korobov, and didn't think it was the big deal everyone made it out to be. It's not like it was some highly anticipated matchup. If he fought Jacobs, fine. I thought that fight is just as good or better than a Korobov fight. There's zero reason a boxing fan should care about Quillin's money if he's fighting someone equally good. But dropping a belt and turning down a payday to fight nobody is shameful as ****. Didn't think he'd only fight once this year originally.

I still can't understand ducking Korobov.

I remember people suggesting that Korobov was a very good fighter, but I have never seen anything but basic. Quillin's own fault for acting like a b*tch when he thought the opponent was good for once, when he clearly wasn't.

C'mon, it's clear why he did it, and even though people like you think he was a "bitch" for it, it probably made more sense staying with Haymon in the long run.
