I watched the hbo fights last night, but I read the commentary from people and the word amazing was used quite often to describe Khan's performance. I can't say I got the same impression at all. He fought like he usually does, it was the Garcia fight without the knockout. he was faster to the punch and that's how Amir usualy wins his fights.

I really don't see how this performance has made people think Amir could beat Floyd. He's a good fighter tho and it's a solid fill-in if Pac-floyd doesn't come trough.

The difference was he didn't get carried away ...

He boxed for pretty much 12 rounds without getting wreck less

In the garcia fight he got too big for his boots and got chinned beyond belief

Told you, Khan speed could play a big factor on fighting Floyd, even thou I rather see Pac vs Floyd for historical reasons, I'm sure Khan would present more problems than Pacquiao against Floyd, Floyd might outbox Manny for the whole night but he ain't gonna be that good against Khan speed and ankwardness.

LOL Bradley with his 35% KO percentage isn't KO'ing anybody, even Khan with his China chin.

Devon Alexander is a massive disappointment and I am frankly sick of seeing him stink up fights. I have see few top levels fighters throw with less authority. That's not boxing to me. i am still amazed that Khan's team chose to duck him the first time around as a perceived risk.

Floyd would humiliate Amir and part of me wants Floyd or Manny to just teach Khan what elite level boxing is all about once and for all.

You must be on crack, Alexander had only a loss against P4P Bradley and a Porter who came like the devil on that night, beat Mathysse, Maidana, knocked out Karass (a bum, but a bum with a solid chin) and had another 2 solid wins against not top opposition.

Alexander ain't the great but he's proved he can box very good, Khan made him look like no one else had. so what's your point?

Khan did well against Alexander, but Alexander is not on the same planet as Mayweather. Khan's speed vs Mayweather's accuracy. I'll go with Floyd... and so will most.

Guarantee Mayweather doesn't fight Kahn, he looked way too good for Mayweather to fight. If Kahn just squeeked by Alexander then Floyd would probably have fought him but not now.

1. You don't "guarantee" anything. Learn to use words correctly.
2. Khan looking good earns Mayflower more money.
3. Khan did well but Mayflower is many levels above Devon.

Let's not get carried away. Khan's improved and put in a great performance but he still hasn't faced a puncher or anybody with the accuracy of Floyd. Hunter's doing a great job. For Khan he's much more suitable than Roach.
