Bundu tested thurman tonite, Thurman definately showed another dimension out there by showing he can box, but is in no way ready for the "big time"!

At what point in the fight did Thurman look good? He showed obvious kinks in his 'aura of invincibility' against a southpaw when Bumdu switched, gets hit with flush shots and just stands there like a deer in the headlights.

Then to top it all off, "he was boxing doe" FFS he better start using karate because his "boxing" is utter garbage.

I'm not even sure he beats Maidana

That just how greatly underestimated he is. Those who did anything about Bundu knew he would be a solid opponent for Thurman so it shouldn't have been a surprise he probably was going to go the full 12 rounds.

Bundu is just tougher than people thought and no doubt in my mind he'd probably give guys like Porter or Brook even tougher fights.
Bundu was intimidated at the start. Thurman could've blitzed him, but instead got too worried about being caught by a guy who doesn't possess near the firepower. Don't even bother overrating Bundu.. he's a non-factor in the division. Thurman is better than this.

Thurman didnt look good, he lost one change and ran, not even punching clear for the rest of the fight.

Still showed that he is really fast on his feet, and you are really underrating Bundu.

There's not one thing that Bundu did that "exposed" Thurman at all. Heck, Thurman also shows that he has no chin problems like these haters like to claim (he took a hard hit earlier in the fight and wasn't even hurt) and that he's a smart fighter (not rushing for the KO like some boxers do)...but somehow, he's exposed? Get the heck outta here with that crap! It's total nonsense!

Thurman won the fight like he was expected. End of story.
Thurman is an overated egomaniacal pile of ****. bring on GGG hahahahahahah what a joke

Thurman not only needed the rounds after the lengthy layoff, but now he can entice fighters to come out and fight him. Maidana or Khan, even Floyd may wanna get some. Ain't afraid to let the 0 go.

He'll be fine next time he should do less talking and more focusing on the opponent at hand

How would you know Thurman could have blitzed him? Bundu was still clearly in the fight after getting dropped and was still swinging hard punches so there's no way Thurman could have blitzed him if he's still live dog.

You're underrating Bundu. There's a reason Thurman got an opponent like him; he's a tough opponent with a solid record and not a washed-up bum with multiple losses.

I don't see how anybody can say Thurman "didn't look good". Thurman clearly beat him, right? Can you say that for the other guys Bundu has fought?

What makes you think he wasn't focused? He knew what he was up against. That's what he wanted.
