Comments Thread For: Thurman Decides To Box, Settles For Decision Win

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - WBA interim-welterweight champion Keith "One Time" Thurman (24-0, 21KOs) was more of a boxer than a slugger, as he went the full twelve round distance in winning a tough unanimous decision over previously undefeated Italian Olympian Leonard Bundu (31-1-2, 11KOs). All three judges had it 120-107.

Moments into the first round, Bundu jumped forward and got dropped from a combination as he came in. He seemed to be fine once he got to his feet and continued to press forward on Thurman. The action was becoming more of a chess match until Thurman tried to heat things up at the end of the fourth with Bundu fighting back.

He was getting booed like hell! I'm glad, the guy is so annoying for real always acting like people are ducking him when he avoided Alexander. Hope he fights chino next year and ktfo. Don't think chino takes the fight though, he wants the big money.

Thurman was just exposed. I was never sold on him, I've said it before.

              Dude gets hit and freezes.
