Comments Thread For: Khan-Alexander Results: Errol Spence Batters Castro

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Hot rising welterweight contender Errol Spence Jr. (15-0, 10KOs) battered Javier Castro (27-8, 22KOs) over five rounds. Spence was tagging Castro easily with both hands from the very first bell. Spence was unloading with ease and nearly every punch was landing flush as Castro had few answers. Very passing round was pretty much a mirror image of the first, with Spence unloading most of his shots

How do these terrible mis-matches improve a fighter in any way? That was brutal

He's going to end up fighting someone who has talent with toughness and he's going to be another prospect put on ice

Mismatches have turned GGG into a star who everyone thinks is invincible. They might be a good strategy for other fighters.

GGG may not be fighting worldbeaters, but they're mostly all Top 10 fare. They're not bums, he's just making them look like bums

Errol Spence went from battering Floyd Joy Mayweather in sparring to battering Castro...

A bit of a step down if you ask me...

Erol Spence and Thurman look like huge welterweights. Both look like they will move up before their career is over.

Triple G called out Floyd and all top guys.. they don't want to fight him... he can only fight who will get in the ring with him...

You're the type of idiot who defends Floyd for ducking Pacquiao and then criticizes Pac for fighting Algieri... can't win with clowns like you...

If Canelo..Cotto..Sergio Martienz would fight Triple G, he'd be fighting them..

Same with Pac.. if Floyd or Marquez would have fought him we wouldn't be fighting Algieri...
