He has alot of hype behind him and is always spoken higlhly of.

Ive seen 2 or 3 of his fights and i just see a really solid fighter with power and a good jab.

Why is this guy so hyped tho

He has potential. I personally feel hes still very green he started boxing quite late, still has to improve his defence cause he gets caught with shots by fighters he shouldnt and he is a little stiff. But hes still young and conducts himself in a way that attracts people to him, so its hard not to like him. Alot of things are unanswered about him but time will tell. Theres a interview from back in 2011 where fury says joshua beat his ass in sparring and that he would be one to lookout for in the future. I'm a fan and i'm excited to see how his career turns out.

He is hyped in England cause he's a physically big strong Olympic boxing gold medalist who looks the part and is clearly very talented. Too early to make a prediction but he looks good to me. 2015 will be the year where he steps up in class so only time will tell. I think Joshua and Joseph Parker are the two best heavyweight prospects out there. I'm very excited to see what Joshua can do in the future and I'm rooting for him.

He's pretty good, I'd expect him to pick up from where his master left off and crack that glass jawed bum that the great one missed out on.

Because he's a heavyweight that actually bothered to get in shape rather than train on a diet of McMuffins. Seriously the guy is a machine.

Joshua's jab is outstanding, he has power and he trains really hard. When he KO'd Michael Sprott in one round in his last fight he had to do 9 rounds of pad work backstage!

I personally think he will go very far.

I've heard from some people he's a bit of prick away from the cameras but on them he seems like a nice geezer.

He reminds me of Frank Bruno an awful lot. I doubt he'll ever be as loved as big Frank was and still is.. He seems a good fighter and is fighting Kevin Johnson next. I don't see that going the distance.

Also, seen him wobbled with headgear on so I'm interested in how he'll react when he's caught.

He is from England and they hype the hell out of any fighter who is any good. Sorry England, no offense, but it's true.

I would be overexcited about new young fighters too if I had to watch soccer every day.
