    Had to state that.
I don't post much so if the fight happens I'll be able to look back and remind you that you said that. I'm no Cotto fan either...but Canelo is a B level fighter at most. He's 23. His career will be over by 28-30...

And you would be justified, buddy. I won't be far.

If I logged into this venue for 10 years, I ain't leaving any time soon. That being stated, I think you're hatin' on the gingerbread man here. Yea he's been gifted but who hasn't?

I guess I'm looking at the upside to his marginal street - fight level boxing rough house qualities. If Tony beat Cotto with attrition? Canelo would most definitely bully and wear him down.

Yes. He just has to keep training hard and fighting well. He edged out Lara who is a terrific fighter. Canelo is a hell of a fighter with a crowd pleasing style and very likeable and popular with the fans. He is one of the top 5 money makers in the sport and he is already a superstar at 24.

Duran's father, Margarito Duran, was born in obregon, sonora, mexico, and was supposedly a good fighter in his own right, but ended up in az, l.a., than the service/ panama canal.

some actually think chavez and Duran may be related, obviously no one has proved it. So pretty suspect.
