I'm not talking about who would win the fight....just "Battle of the jabs". Holmes left jab is considered to be among the best in boxing history but I believe when Wlad's career is over his jab will also be rated as one of the best in boxing history.....

So who wins this match-up in the battle of the jabs Wlad or Larry?

Larry holmes has the best jab ever for the heavies/ klits has a stiff but it does'nt sting. foreman's jab was like a over hand right. powerful

I think Wlad's jab is already considered as one of the best.

It's a different type of jab first and foremost. Holmes' jab was more like an Ali flicking type jab (most of the time) but with power that he would use to circle his opponents and then go in. But he'd really fluster his opponent and snap their heads back. He also hooked off the jab which not many people do these days (in the heavyweights).

Wladimir's jab is used to set up the steelhammer missile right hand and when he actually throws a 1-2 like he should, it's really effective and a very very good shot. He tends to paw with the jab these days, which i'm not much of a fan of but it works for him.

Holmes' jab was quicker though and he could throw 3 jabs in quick succession with power.

Holmes has the better timing and can move around with his jab, Wladimir has the stiffer and perfectly executed jab but needs more time to throw it.
