    Who should Golovkin fight?

Murray (can't wait!), Quillin (his only semithreat at MW), Cotto (to get a belt), Canelo (to stop the Canelo hype), Trout (who beat Canelo and Cotto), Lara (who beat Trout and Canelo). Honestly, these are the only guys I would like to see him fight at that weight.

I think GGG vs. Austin Trout would be a great fight.

Cotto, he beat Sergio who was considered the "other" champ so he should fight GGG.
If not give up the belt, simple as that!

A better question following on from that is how highly would people rate GGG if his resume had

            Cotto W
            Canelo W
            Lara W
            Trout W
            Quillin W
            Murray W

            and maybe

            Lemieux W

And let's say he won all those by KO...theoretically that's 2-3 years worth of fights so a 34/35 year old GGG could have a resume consisting of 37 or 38 wins, 35 or so KOs...0 defeats...

Would he then hold a better resume than someone like Floyd lets say?

And would he move up for the last few years of his career?

Perhaps add a Ward win, unless Ward is campaigning at HW like he plans and someone like Chavez...

Ok, this is all getting a bit too mythical and not particularly realistic, but in an ideal world GGG could get all these fights and if he managed to get through them all impressively he would truly prove himself as a very special fighter.

he should fight lemieux or korobov/lee or n'dam while he waits to see if canelo/cotto will fight him this year. if canelo/cotto aren't willing, then he should move up to 168 lbs and take on froch and ward

                  In My Bane voice.

Cotto and Canelo, you must both take an asswhooping from GGG, Then you losers have my permission to fight each other.

I agree! He got tons of potential, now he just need tons of good opponents who sadly don't want to fight him...
