WBA World Super bantamweight titlist Scott Quigg took to Twitter today to confirm that he has had to undergo hand surgery. The Manchester Evening News broke the story yesterday, indicating that the Bury-based boxer could be out until the summer, and Quigg’s Tweet confirmed that the surgery has been successful.
