Two of Haye's "biggest" fights were walking through a gray haired name in Ruiz and a gray haired not-really-name in Harrison. Tarver and Briggs would both fit the same bill, even older and in some ways bigger names.

I actually think he "retires" specifically until opportunities like this pop up.

Tarver looked good against Banks because he is a skilled veteran, while Banks fights as a hobby. Jonathan should have attacked Antonio's doughy middle. If Tarver fights a young full-time boxer who has actual skill, he will get a wake up call, & that will be that.

Tarver should fight his hunger for Milk Duds first. I should launch my career at heavyweight as I look fitter than Tarver. Beating a walking punching bag means nothing. But I guess it's still better than what Shannon the Cannon has done.

Yes, Tarver should beat a couple of contenders/fringe contenders before being given a title shot.

Arreola would be ideal as his next opponent.
