After Haye knocked out Chisora, Vitali kept his distance from Haye, because he didn't come close to KOing Chisora himself. He realized Haye's power was real and his speed would be a major problem so he ducked him.

You should just admit that Vitali ducked instead of making excuses because the evidence is pretty overwhelming, and it's an opinion based on real evidence, not out of some hate towards Vitali. Vitali is one of my favorite heavyweights of all time but he did duck Haye in the end.
I really dunno if your right about this or not but I don't fault vitali anymore than I fault lewis for not taking a rematch with vitali. they were both clearly well past it. call it a duck if you want but I just see it as knowing when to call it quits

There were times in the last five years where Vitali tried to fight Haye, but Haye passed.

There were also times where Haye tried to fight Vitali, but Vitali passed.

Ya'll motherfuckers be splitting ends, man. Wasting your damn time trying to prove why your pet fighter is a better person than someone else's pet fighter.

It was all business and they never could make a deal. So what? Let these motherfuckers eat breakfast in peace.

vitali is done, finished with boxing. he's a politician now with a lot of stuff on his plate to get done. plus he doesn't seem like the guy who would be willing to fight people he's friendly with

Him and Lewis were very friendly with each other before and after their fight, that didn't stop him from calling Lewis out for about 10 years after he retired.

I honestly don't think this will happen. Haye might come back, but I doubt that too. He talks a lot, as we know.

Vitali is deeply involved in politics by now and sits as Mayor of Kiev in his native Ukraine. He doesn't have time to prepare for a comeback, even if he wanted to. He is also 43 now.

It was a fight that definitely should have happened, but Haye clearly ducked Vitali in a most cowardly way those few years back. But Vitali is a gentleman, this is why he is able to treat even a fraudster and conman like Davey with friendliness.

Much respect to Vitali. Great champion, great man.

It would not have the same meaning anymore as it once would have.

Vitali is ageing now and been out of the game.

David Haye has appeared to be immensely athletic but is always injury prone which could easily crop up during the fight.

I think any outcome would be less than satisfactory.

                  Vitali should stay retired.

Haye should just ****ing fight the active HW's!
