Pacquiao vs. Broner MUST happen!
It's a win-win situation for everyone.
If Pacquiao wins, Mayweather would have to fight him to avenge his "lil bro".
If Broner wins, the boxing landscape would go through dramatic changes.
No matter who wins, the fans would win, this would be a great fight.
Now, there are some disagreements about the quality of Broner's boxing, but those disagreements are usually based on people hating Broner's personality. And who doesn't, I think he sounds like a childish, annoying idiot. But looking objectively at his career, this idiot really COULD upset Pacquiao.
Power: 22 of his 29 wins were by way of knockout and in most of the matches where he won by decision, he seriously rocked the opponents. Broner's punching power is dangerous for anyone. Chin & Heart: Broner has never been knocked out in his entire career, even after eating monstrous punches from Marcos Maidana. And Broner stayed in the fight, even after those punches. Broner's chin and heart are tested and approved. Skills: While no Mayweather defensively, there's still a reason that Broner is compared to him. Broner is good defensively. And also, it takes skills to win 29 fights against okay-to-good opposition and although he had a bad night against Maidana (in which Broner did win some rounds with fast potshots), there's a reason that we probably won't see a rematch: Broner was obviously the better boxer, just caught off-guard by an aggressive hardhitter. Mistakes he wouldn't repeat and Maidana knows it.
Broner got the better power, chin and defensive skills, but Pacquiao's speed, experience and offensive skills would make things interesting, even if Pacquiao is a bit past it. This is a 50-50 fight to me, but even if it isn't to you, then seriously, who else would you rather see Pacquiao fight? No one besides Mayweahter? I thought so, me too, and because of that, you should want this fight so the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight could happen.
