Maidana impressed on Showtime, the Latin American fans rallied to him, and the general boxing fanbase threw their lot in with him. Khan his name, but the last the fans saw of him was the so-so performance over Julio Diaz. Without the Alexander fight, Maidana getting the fight was really a no-brainer.

So every fighter, 140-160, basically has till early/mid February to make their case for the Mayweather fight. Whomever is on the hottest run, looking the most impressive in their final fight, is likely to get the shot.

ya but the reality of how it went down dont fit their narrative. they like to pretend to forget that when the feelers went out for khan mayweather that it was literally laughed at by everyone who was not a khan fan even floyd haters at time knowing manny was not an option thought it was a joke. then the ole mayweather will duck maidana **** started if mayweather dont give maidana a rematch you guys got to admit it be hanging over his head until he retired. I mean come on guys we all know how it went down lets not change history to suit your mayweather hate

No , would be much more intriguing and I would strongly fancy Bradley and before all the fools start saying Bradley ducked Khan etc , we know why just as Khan swerved Alexander last year. Maybe IF Khan gets by Alexander that could be next, it would certainly be more realistic.

Khan thinks he is participating in a sparring match on Saturday.

I just wonder how many punches from Alexander it will take before Khan realizes that he is not as great as he thinks he is.

People are talking about ppv numbers and how Pacquiao can't sell *****. The truth is Floyd won't fight Pacquiao even if the ppv share was 99/1 on Floyd's favor. Floyd wants none of Pacquiao since day one period.

We need to start protesting because I'm not watching Floyd fight Amir Khan, Devon Alexander, or Danny Garcia. Floyd's been fighting clowns for way too long. We need to do something.

Once Floyd announces another fighter other than Pacquiao I'm ready to go to that press conference with full gears on with signs that says Pu$$y Floyd and #FightPacquiao.

I'm no Floyd hater but this ***** has to stop. Yes boxing is business but it's also a sport. How do people let Floyd get away making millions fighting two fights with a flat footed Maidena? I want to know who's better. Pacquiao or Floyd?

D@mn Floyd quit ducking and fight Pacquiao.

And no I don't need Floyd's a$$ kissers and his blind followers to tell me who's Brandon Rios and Chris Algieri or Pacquiao needs to get rid of Bob Arum and all that bs excuses. I need them to find Floyd and tell him to fight Pacquiao!

Stop making up excuses. Boxing is a sport yes! But boxing is also a fight! You can't say before a fight...hey I want you to get rid of your wife and I want you to deal with your taxes and I want you to first fight that guy or this guy before I fight you. When you do that it means you're scared but whatever we all already know that.

Floyd if you're scared of Pacquiao...RETIRE plain and simple.

Boxing fans. We cannot let another year, another fight go by without Floyd fighting Pacquiailo. If you're a true fan of the sport of boxing we need this fight!
It is nice of you to give Bob Arum a pass. You clowns claim that Floyd is afraid of a guy who has fought two journeymen in his last three fights and couldn't KO either one.

Yet, Bob Arum has never done anything to prevent this fight from happening (the afraid of needles excuse, the phony countdown clock, the talking to investors excuse, the alleged cut on Pac's eye that wouldn't heal by May 2012 UNLESS Pac was fighting Marquez V, the excuse that he wasn't interested in making Mayweather/Pacquaio because he was planning Pac/Marquez V, the "I don't know who to talk to on Mayweather's team" excuse, the temporary stadium excuse).

What we as boxing sports fans need to do is to demand an end to ignorant posts like this one.

Khan should win this, but if he's already thinking 1 or 2 opponents past Alexander, he could get KTFO. Dumbass never learns.

And his fans blame his detractors' contempt for the guy on bigotry.

Shouldn't it be: Khan: I want people to demand that Mayweather fights me!

LAs much as i do dont like Khan, as a fan im anxious to see what hes coming with this wkend. The man does NOT deserve floyd and as much as hes trying to convince himself hes completely overlooking devon. Pac, danny garcia and brook, in that order deserve floyd over khan..what khan needs to do is eliminate all other possibilites that floyd has and he'll have no optiin but to fight khan. Still hope he gets sparked this wkend.
Shoutout to Jas for the points.
