I don't think he is a serious contender and he did not beat Gatti in his prime. I think Gatti is in his prime right now and he is a smarter and more technical fighter than back in the day. Manfredy also lost 3 of his last 7 fights.

No I did not seen him knock out Gatti, since he NEVER Knocked out Gatti.

The fight was stopped on a cut. The fight was about even on that point (and Gatti to my opinion coming back strong).

I can't see why anyone would want to discuss Manfredy at this stage.
He was a good fighter, 5 years ago.
He's not a good fighter now, nor was he all that good in his prime.
