Mayweather is using Khan the same way Pac is using Jessie Vargas, for leverage at the negotiations to show the other that they have options. That being said, I will be rooting for Devon Saturday.

may 2nd dont mean **** if hes fighting manny people are losing sight of that but i guess it would give floyd chance to make a power play. canelo is stubborn tho i could see him staying on may 2nd anyway

I was thinking this the other day. Floyd keeps on cherry picking a fighter due to 1 hyped up fight (Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana, ...). So if Khan wins in another hyped up fight, it may give Floyd his way out of the Manny fight again.

I guess that I'm going to have to pull for Devon over Khan in a boring dirty clutch snooze fest.

I don't like khan before pacquiao because I want people to stop seeing mayweather declining before their very eyes before it's too late, same thing for pacquiao I don't want any fight for him before mayweather. Mayweather's invincibility is tarnished enough with maidana fights, and I don't think he's gonna knockout khan this time around, all the same khan will just make him use his legs more. There is certain ominous feeling that floyd will be exposed even more with khan than maidana. specially, if floyd can't hurt khan.

In real world it would be better if pac vs floyd would happen first. And then after that, they can both cherry pick whenever, however, whichever they want and fans will be much more forgiving after that. Meanwhile, every fight they take before engaging each other will just waste the last remaining primeness they have in their stellar careers.

Floyd already ducked Khan when he won his poll. I can't see him fighting him now.

The question is which slow plodder will he fight.
