    Jermain Taylor has entered a not guilty plea in the case stemming from an incident in which the middleweight titleholder allegedly shot his cousin and threatened another man in late August, according to Arkansas television station KTHV.

    A hearing has been scheduled for May 29, 2015, and a jury trial is scheduled to take place on June 23 and June 24, 2015, according to online court records.

            don't know what the laws are there but in cali you get slapped around then put on probation for first gun offense.

              Why punch a guy when shooting is better. Taylor plugged his cousin repeatedly with the intent to kill and capped the dude good. Prison awaits the dimwitted slow mentally taylor. Let justice rule. Shoot to kill then pay the bill. PRISON

                Don't know much about the case but he very well could get off... If the individuals tried to assault him in his home and he felt his life was threatened, then he will get off. Then again he could have over reacted and did the wrong thing. Very interesting case.

                    taylor should have killed the guy via choke hold. wouldn't even have gone past the grand jury. leaving your victim err i mean the other party alive is never good legally
