It's not the same, though. If Khan doesn't get Mayweather, the Brook fight is still there to fall back on. He isn't making a decision that makes the Brook fight impossible. Bradley made a decision that made the Khan fight impossible, without anywhere near the chance of landing Pacquiao that Khan has.

If Khan doesn't get the Mayweather fight and ends up fighting Victor Ortiz or something, then people can call him out.

Maidana VS Khan would be a decent fight.

I'd favor Maidana slightly as he has improved significantly (as has Khan) over the last 18 months. Maidana's power would be the difference - Khan dropped him with a body shot, but essentially Maidana is still a much more dangerous headhunter. Khan would need to stay outside the whole 12 rounds - this would be a real test of his 'new' defensive style.

Bradley VS Khan is not as appealing style wise, but again Timmy is very durable and certainly has boxing skills on par (if not better all round) than Khan. 50/50 fight, but a bit boring style wise IMO.

Anyone who thinks Khan walks through either Maidana or Bradley is being very biased.

Either fight could go either way.

Nah Khan vs Brook is the way to go. Much more fan interest and money involved. Khan vs Maidana was too one sided.

Khan vs Brook would be more competitive. Lets get it right, Brook can actually crack, and guys with power are threat to Khan compared to guys who can't punch, no matter how skilled they are.
