I would also like to say that Pacquiao has overcome that KO loss because of how strong he bounced back after that. Meanwhile Marquez has only tarnished his reputation since that day. That's pretty embarassing considering he was the one who handed out the knockout, it's like the opposite of the usual happened after that.
pac has one of the greatest comeback stories of all time imo.

never has a fighter come back the way pac has after getting KO'ed unconscious. usually that type of KO means retirement especially for the fighters in their 30s.

I laughed when I saw the report on ESPN. I laughed at all of the crying I read as I scrolled through posts on NSB.

How do I feel now-"he's not getting up jim" will go down along with "no mas" and "down goes frazier" as one of the most remembered calls in boxing history.

I just like how mentioning it ruffles the feathers of pac fans. it really isn't a big deal anymore but they get so emotional that I get a kick out of it.

well manny was on watered down meth as compare to marquez. ariza doesnt have the connection like memo does. all the shiiet ariza gets is the cut from memo's stash (the shiiet they dont want).

It was 5 45 in the morning here in England and I just ****ing yelled dead in the morning and celebrated like a madman like Marco Tardelli's celebration (youtube it). The death of *******s was a sweet sight behold but more importantly, Marquez finally snatched justice after getting jobbed the previous fights.

Juan Manuel Marquez, you are a ****ing legend. Truly, truly legendary night

that's what makes it, for me, so special. jmm was starting to take a beating ... kept his composure (that word should be changed to JMM, really) and landed that absolute equalizer at the moment of most devastating impact.

ridiculous win for jmm, absolutely crushing for my pinoy breddren.

Like I said a couple of weeks ago when it was brought up, I had mixed feelings, I was disgusted, stunned but also very happy for Marquez. I felt justice was served considering Marquez didn't get the decision in the 3rd fight.

I can't even express how bad I would have felt had Marquez gotten stopped, think about it for a second. Marquez had to compromise who he is as a fighter because the judges won't ever award him the victory. Would have been shitty for me and I'm no fan of Marquez though I respect him greatly.
