Comments Thread For: Photos: Vitali Klitschko Inks Golden Book in Hamburg

HAMBURG, GERMANY - Former heavyweight champion and mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko signs the 'Golden Book' of Hamburg at Hamburg's Rathaus. The 'Golden Book' consists of the signatures of especially honored guests of Hamburg. The book itself is a box with not fixed sheets. It is folded in golden leather and a gift of the family of the First Mayor Carl Friedrich Petersen (1809 – 1892). The book was signed by many important and historical figures. Even Adolf Hitler signed the book in 1937, but his signature was later removed from the book along with other **** leaders. The Dalai Lama signed the Golden Book during his 5th visit in Hamburg in February 2007.
