Has Adonis been taking career advice from Andre Ward?

Kovalev did what he had to do, made the fights Stevenson wouldn't, and will be rewarded for it. But its going to be really funny if Adonis and Kovalev fight in 2015 and Adonis wins.

Oh and you're so hoping for that for obvious reasons.

Yeah, to laugh at all the NSB posters who prematurely ejaculated with hate as is customary on NSB. I've always wanted to see them fight and hope they do next year. If they don't, Stevenson stays irrelevant and his lineal title means nothing. If they do fight, the winner is the undisputed best LHW in the world, barring a controversial ending.

You don't think he deserved it?

He chose his road...he eschewed the 2014 FOTY and a big domestic clash with Pascal to fight Fonfara and Sukhotsky.

It's not just NSB where he received criticism, it's everywhere. The response is to be expected.

Yes, he did. as is regular on NSB with certain fighters, posters buried the fighter before he the fight happens. You are absolutely right, Stevenson and Haymon made their choices. The fight however is still a possibility.

That said if the fight gets made and Stevenson wins, it would be interesting to see the unhappiness pour out as Stevenson would be the undisputed LHW king.

lol yeah I guess, but fans would either call for a rematch or a fight with Beterbiev.

That's the great thing about boxing, it's all about the next one.

Makes sense. Nothing wrong with that. Its just that with certain fighters NSB has a tendency to predict how the story will end when they are not even half way through the book.

Stevenson's 2014 was not meaningful, no question. If his 2015 is wins against Kov and then a Beterbiev that means 2014 was an anomaly sandwiched between 2 really impressive years. That more than makes up for 2014 and should force true boxing fans to re evaluate their opinions expressed this year.

Score over Stevenson? Is this a joke, He needs to drop main events and go male real money with Haymon
