Is Smith still British champion? Only under BBBofC rules I thought it had to be defended at least once a year & he's not defended since June 2013.

You do realize this is for the WBO world supermiddleweight title. This makes the British title absolutely worthless just like a guy with a European title going into a world title fight.

Do I care?! The WBO title means Jack ****! & is 4th behind the WBA,WBC & IBF. Not that there much better. All I want is the British title freed up & give someone else a chance to win the Lonsdale belt!!!.......

I thought it was a close fight that Smith edged on points. One of the scorecards was completely out to lunch but that has come to be expected. Having a rematch in Germany will do nothing to change that.
