Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. was very upset with the final outcome of Saturday fight between Jean Pascal and Roberto Bolonti at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

The fight was set as a tuneup for Pascal's upcoming fight with WBA/IBF/WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev on March 14th.

In the second round, Pascal dropped Bolonti with a jab and then went after him. When they were in a clinch, the referee was trying to break them apart when Pascal hit Bolonti with what appeared to be a minor shot to the the head and the Argentine boxer went down like a sack of potatoes.

Obvoiusly the Bolonti dude wanted a paycheck for taking a dive. Tell the Bolonti to go take a hike and go to hell no money for the fake injury and going out like a wimp. Probably a career ender for Bolonti anyway.

I haven't seen this fight but I've seen pictures of him in the stretcher with a neck brace being carried out. If he faked that then that's appalling behavior.

The fact that after a while only Bolonti's trainer and a single paramedic where next to Bolonti on the canvas spoke wonders. None of the fight Doctors were near him and the trauma expert wasn't near him either.

He was on the canvas for at least 10 minutes, if not up to 15 minutes. If he was seriously hurt they would have got him out of the ring much much earlier.

That's what Pascal gets for fighting such an overmatched opponent. It's not the first time we've seen this scenario, people who paid for this fight got what they deserved, a botched execution.

When a victim is sexually assaulted, do you focus on the short dress? Or make note she wasn't penetrated? Or that she's a slut? A sucker punch is a sucker punch and that should be the only focus. Roy Jones is a piece of **** to ignore that little point. The ref was furious with Pascal but then got sympathetic after he realized the guy was not getting up!
