Well he did beat him up worse than GGG did, but I won't gloat since Rosado's eye closed earlier than vs GGG.

Good stoppage, NYSAC is likely going to pay big money to Abdusalomov's family because of how that situation was handled, they're not about to take chances like that again. Gabe was taking some hard shots.

Great fight, great test for Lemieux... and I think it's his best performance. Much more solid and varied in attack, stamina much better, all around better job. I won't say he's ready for GGG yet, but certainly he could be very solid against Quillin, Stevens, Cotto, Geale, Murray, Soliman, Sturm, N'Dam, Macklin, Mora, Jacobs, Lee.... The guy has alotta options. Now if anyone has the stones to get in the ring with him.

Did anyone else notice ref Steve Willis in the ring? Man, that guy was having as much fun in there as boxing's biggest fans. HA!

in all seriousness, the surgeon did an amazing job on that scar tissue though....the eye swelled up on the bottom, not a previous problem...where he got the surgery, refused to bust open and cut, almost like it was stronger than before.

i feel bad for gabe, besides that bkb fluke.. every fight hes is in looks exactly the same. that surgery he had on that left eye was spectacular. it took that much of a beating nd hadnt even opened up.

how has he been in 9 of hopkins training camps, yet defense be so horrendous?

He took as bad of a beating this fight as against GGG. The kid can take a hell of a punch. Lemieux landed some huge shots on him. Rosado was getting his brain rattled more in this fight though, so I can kind of understand why they stopped it. Also the NY state Athletic commission is probably being more careful after what happened to Magomed
