This is blockbuster news, ring observers.

A well-connected source has told me today that CBS boss Les Moonves wants the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather superfight to become reality next year. No ifs ands or buts about it. Word is Moonves has told Showtime sports boss Stephen Espinoza to make the fight happen "or else."

Meaning that Espinoza will be on the street if he does not, and Haymon and Mayweather can say goodbye to any Showtime dates in the future, and that includes Haymon's stable of fighters and also the fighters who box for Mayweather Promotions.

And it makes perfect, logical sense. Haymon and Mayweather don't call the shots, Les Moonves does.

Moonves is said to be uncomfortable with the idea of televising two more Mayweather "fights" against set up handpicked opponents because those events will be certain money losers, just like Mayweather's last two fights, and three of the last four (not counting Saul Alvarez which was profitable).

So there you have it, according to my reliable and connected source, the pressure on Mayweather and Haymon is now at an all time high. They are caught in the vice and it's closing fast. And the only way out now is to agree to finally...FINALLY...fight Manny Pacquiao.

Even Floyd's uncle and father are saying in public, Floyd should fight Pacquiao next.

Floyd Mayweather, the greatest conniving, conning, evasive ducker in the history of boxing, has been cornered. It's checkmate.
Floyd is a charlatan , a fraud for those who don't know what it means

Apparently the CBS head honcho is not ok with Floyd losing money in 3 of 4 fights they have done with him.

Doubt this is solid, but it's hilarious if true. They need to quit b/s'ing and make it already.

I rofl'd at the part where it said Moonves is gonna kick Haymon and all of his fighters off of Showtime if they don't do this

Thanks for posting this. If true, Bob did a great job going to the right person.

Correction, it's 'them' losing money from Floyd fights.

They still have 2 fights left to turn things around, and they know the only fight that will profit is a super-fight show down that will put boxing in the map again.

Never heard of Scoop Malinowski, but after some research, I learned he's the guy who screamed "Get him a straitjacket!" at Mike Tyson, and caused Tyson to unleash that famous "I'll fuck you untill you love me, faggot" rant.
