The mayweather that beat corrales I believe will beat anyone in the history. If you look at that fight and listen to what Larry Merchant and Jim Lampley are saying. They were comparing him to Sugar Ray robinson and Leonard. The current Floyd I believe is beatable tho. He cant move as quick as he use to and stays in the pocket too long.

This. Chico was good and exciting but let's not act like mayweather beat a duran/pacquiao,leonard here. It was Diego corrales. Tough guy with great power but very limited.

Dude, corrales best wins at that time was over espn Friday night fights caliber guys. Guys like angel manfredy. Unless you grew up watching fights at that time period, you don't really have an idea of what the landscape of the division was. Corrales was pretty good and was a blast to watch, undefeated, etc, but so was andre berto and look at him now. Corrales after the Floyd loss went on to get beat up really badly by Castillo, casamayor and clottey. Like embarrassing beatings. I don't see anyone talking about those guys how you are about Floyd for doing the exact same thing. And spare me that corrales wasn't the same after Floyd.

If you are a boxing fan you absolutely MUST respect and admire chico, but that win proves nothing when comparing Floyd to past great fighters.

Corrales was a lot like Gatti, a fight fans dream to watch but a B-C level fighter.
