  • Comments Thread For: Nonito Donaire To Return on March 8th in Macau?

Last seen, Nonito Donaire was conclusively defeated in six rounds by Nicholas Walters on October 18th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California for the WBA featherweight title. There is talk that his return will come on March 8th in Macau at the Venetian Resort.

"We talked about it, that's probably the best place for it. We're gonna see,"said Donaire's manager, Cameron Dunkin to BoxingScene.com on Friday morning.

All the top dogs at 122 are undefeated, he can get all their 0s

          Scott Quigg 30-0
          Leo Sta Cruz 28-0
          Carl Frompton 19-0
          Guillermo Rigondeaux - 14-0

If he can land the left hook he landed on Walters in the 2nd round, none of this 122er will get up.

            You're kidding right?

Rigondeaux, Quigg, Santa Cruz, Frampton, even Mares would come down to 122 again for Donaire.

I think his psyche is so messed up at the moment that LSC beats him. He needs a confidence builder or three (although even those have been backfiring on him).

don't know if TR allows any of those to happen. and he'd be better off to just forget rigo.

                    Going back to China

Where he got a 5th rd TD after fighting only 4 rds...4 rds? 5th rd TD?

                    Going back to China

Had the Walters fight been staged in Macau, im sure it would've been overturned to a "No Contest" by now
