If Pauli Malinaggi can do it so can Algeri, he is not a true top end guy and never really will be one due to certain limitation.

However, Algeri is tough, has heart and has enough offensive boxing ability to beat somewhat more talented fighter and certainly mediocre fighters. He needs to learn to muck it up better though because he has no real defense when in range of another guy.

With the way divisions are now with what Algeri is he will get a bunch of shots, and you have to think at least one will be to his advantage even if he is being set up for a better guy.

If he can handle Provodnikov, he'd have a decent shot against anyone at 140. He'd win some, he'd lose some, but he'd do well.
