I can't understand why an article that's in the LA Times didn't get noticed by this site either. Sometimes I feel this is why so many people on this site feel it's Floyd's fault the fight hasn't happened twice. To the boxing fans on this site, this is a good site for forums, but it's not the only site for information. How many on this site know that Danny Garcia talks happened before Algeri was signed? Arum is a snake, which is why Freddie has been talking so much and pushing for the fight. Outwardly it appears he's pressuring Mayweather, but actually, he's pushing Arum. Freddie knows that Arum is the one keeping the cold war alive, and he's (Freddie) is doing his best to assist Manny in getting better fights (Like Mayweather & Danny Garcia). Freddie knows why all these guys are signing with Haymon, and he sees the handwriting on the wall. If Manny won't leave Arum, and Arum is poison in the industry, Manny's career is dead! Let's hope this CBS move works!

If the fight even happens, it will be in Vegas or Cowboy's Stadium just to keep the production of the mega event controlled, where there are no unpredictable variables. Has UAE has even proven they can handle huge mega sporting events on a worldwide level??

But if Pacquiao wins, then the rematch will be in the UAE for even more insane money. It will be a sequel to Rumble in the Jungle. I"m sure someone will come up with a clever title involving "the desert" or "sand".

No it wouldnt and i dont care where it is but i think all big fights should be in Vegas

Why? Vegas isn't even in the top 3 for world entertainment destinations anymore. The unfinished casinos vacated by the crash are an eyesore, and none of the venues there can hold enough people for this fight.

I dont see the big incentive here for Floyd.

All offers seem to be showing him making 9 figures so why should he fight halfway around the world for the same thing he could make in America.?

Because the gate would be much larger, he wouldn't have to pay the same taxes, and it would garner worldwide attention instead of just the States.

Doesn't matter, because Floyd won't fight in a place where he isn't in control of everything (including the officials, the gloves, and the gate). He's a chicken ****, always has been, always will be.
