Why isn't Floyd Mayweather more grateful to Oscar when Oscar made him famous?

I've seen on multiple occasions where Floyd was bad mouthing Oscar when he was having his drug issues(classy) and the fishnet incident as well. How come Floyd isn't more nicer to De La Hoya? If it wasn't for Oscar, Floyd would be still doing 300,000 PPV buys like he did against Baldomir. Let's be real, Oscar put Floyd on the map and made him what he is today but of course a lot of Floyd fans will deny it. Call me ****** but i wouldn't be bad mouthing someone who signs my checks.

Mayweather did try to show Oscar respect, what happened is Oscar was being a sore loser and would not take his L like a man.

He started saying he was robbed when it was clear that they tried to rob Mayweather, and then he started with the ridiculous blue print.

Every opponent Mayweather faced, here comes Oscar praying on Mayweathers downfall, talking about I have the blue print.

So while Mayweather is definitely not the person that comes to mind when you say Humble, Grateful and etc, but he did try to get along with Oscar.

I totally Agree - Floyd needs to show more class when talking about the man who put him on the PPV map. Lets be real - Nobody cared to watch FLoyd, he never had much Pay Per view fights either. When he fought Gatti, the ppv was because of the Gatti fans, when he fought Baldomir, same deal. When he got a shot @ Oscar - Oscar was the star bringing all the viewers, and celebrities,etc. The 24-7 HBO show was not a Floyd Mayweather Creation like he claims. It was Golden Boy, and HBO who started the show.

Finally, for those Floydiots that keep sayting Floyd Whooped Oscar, think Again. That fight could have went either way. Even Floyd Senior Scored the fight for Oscar. 2 of the 3 judges had oscar winning the 12th round, if the third judge had it the same, it would have been Oscar who won the split decision, not Floyd.

Finally, Floyd is not undefeated in my books, Jose Luis Castillo was the first man to Defeat him - he was robbed in their first meeting.

Damn, some of the excuses are hilarious from the Floyd fans. There is no to twist it, if it wasn't for Oscar, Floyd wouldn't be where he is today period. Ask yourself honestly, if he didn't face De La Hoya, would he be as famous like he is now? I'm not saying Floyd should kiss his ass every time he sees him but I am saying why talk **** about someone when they are having a lot of issues? Talk about kicking someone when they are down. Wrong. Floyds skills put him on the map. People started noticing the talent that he had and the rest is history. Even if he didn't fight Oscar at that time, he would still be where he's at.

He couldn't even sell out his home town like Crawford is doing now, and the commentating team were saying how he's the best, but how is he going to capture the audiences attention like the past greats. This was during the Gatti fight I believe.

Then Oscar came along, and 24/7 was the answer to that question.

Floyd needs to thank Oscar, and 24/7. Really, he needs to thank Oscar, because he wouldn't get the same ratings with out his opponent being Oscar.
