All that is just ur opinion, the truth is U have no idea what his next move is. But on ur earlier comments u acted like u knew what was gonna happen by saying I would like to see pac vs xxx but arum won't let that happen, etc. U're assuming u know what's gonna happen by looking at Arums action and then applying it like it's real facts but when others do the same, u call them out on it.

Call me crazy, but does this sound like I'm making things up:All that is just ur opinion, the truth is U have no idea what his next move is. Roach told me he recently talked to Pacman's promoter, Bob Arum, and Roach said that Algieri will get the nod to fight Manny.
"I told Bob, 'I don't like runners,' and Bob said you better find a way, that's who you're fighting," said Roach, the six time Boxing Writers Association trainer of the year.
Roach said he asked if there wasn't somebody more popular, or a better stylistic fit for the 56-5-2 Pacman, who last gloved up April 12, when he conclusively beat (UD12) Tim Bradley in a rematch tangle. After all, Roach offered, Provodnikov would love to clash with the Filipino icon. Nope, Arum said, according to Roach, that'd be a hard sell because he lost his last fight, to Algieri.
"I can't promote that," Arum said to Roach. "Bob likes Algieri, and he told me that's who we're getting."
Does that sound like he (Bob) is going to let Pac fight Provodnikov? Oh, maybe now that Provodnikov beat Castillo (like Bradley did) maybe he deserves a Pacquiao fight.Comment

I want to see a genuine good guy like Pacquiao would react against a dirty fighter like Maidana.

Again, call me crazy, but does this sound like Arum wants a Danny Garcia fight for Pacquiao:All that is just ur opinion, the truth is U have no idea what his next move is. But on ur earlier comments u acted like u knew what was gonna happen by saying I would like to see pac vs xxx but arum won't let that happen, etc. U're assuming u know what's gonna happen by looking at Arums action and then applying it like it's real facts but when others do the same, u call them out on it.
Boxing promoter Bob Arum maintained that he doesn’t favor Danny Garcia as a possible opponent for Manny Pacquiao.
The Top Rank Inc. CEO explained that Garcia, the current junior welterweight king, might not even get past Chris Algieri, who is scheduled for a 12-round joust with Pacquiao.
“I don't think Danny Garcia if he fought Algieri today would have much of a chance,” Arum said in an interview with Radio Rahim. “I mean Algieri is a real great athlete.”
There have been talks of a possible match-up between Pacquiao and Garcia before the Algieri fight was set up.

Again, does this prove Arum won't change his mind? No it does not. However, who chooses Algeri over Danny Garcia? Who does that? Why would you rather have Algeri, the WBO champ, instead of Danny Garcia, the lineal 140lb. champ. Please don't say Haymon, because Haymon was onboard too:
MGM Grand, Las Vegas - According to Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, manager Al Haymon is very open to the idea of having WBC/WBA 140-pound champion Danny Garcia (29-0, 17KOs) move up in weight to face WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2 38KOs). As BoxingScene.com reported earlier, De La Hoya met with Top Rank on Thursday and several potential fights were discussed.Comment

Here's why:
If the Mayweather fight falls through, and let's face it, it probably will, there is no better opponent than Crawford. It's a fight that would do wonders for both men.
For Pacquiao, after his crushing knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, it would be a clear announcement that his name still belongs in the same breath as Mayweather's. At 27, Crawford is in his absolute prime. A counter puncher with a smooth, defensive style, he'd likely provide the Filipino star an interesting challenge in the waning days of his legendary career.
For Crawford, the appeal is even clearer. It's an unparalleled economic opportunity and a chance to secure his place as America's next great fighter. It's the best fight anyone can make outside of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. It's the kind of fight boxing needs—and fans deserve.

Doesn't Floyd have a title at junior middleweight? WTF would he look like fighting the junior welterweight champ? Garcia is too busy trying to build his record against unranked boxers. His management team are in the process of making his undefeated record PPV marketable, so they can get paid more money in the BIG fights without the risks. Al Haymon is very protective of his fighters, so I would be more worried about him rather than Bob Arum. I think we can count on seeing a Bradley-Maidana fight before anything, that fight makes a lot more sense.Comment
