Comments Thread For: Maidana Still Hopes To Get Manny Pacquiao in 2015

Former champion Marcos Maidana (35-5, 31KOs) is still relaxing and enjoying the time he is spending with his family. Maidana spoke with the Argentinian media at the Quorum Hotel.

Maidana had a very successful 2014, with two high profile pay-per-view fights against WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who won twelve round decisions in both meetings.

Regarding his future, Maidana is staying tight-lipped until he meets with his team in early 2015.

If this happens it will be a brutal confrontation!

A sharp Pacquiao should be able to fend off a charging Maidana and capitalize on openings but make no mistake about it this is an extremely dangerous fight for Manny!

Maidana is used to big boy checks now. He rather get KTFO by Pac than get KTFO by Thurman for 1/4 of the money.

So if Pac fights a lesser opponent will this mean he ducked Maidana?

I have been calling for this fight since Oscar and arum started working together..

IMO outside of floyd-manny, this is one of the best fights to make...

And I think manny would treat Maidana like he did cotto...

This would be a great fight. Although one can wish for a PPV like

                    Mayweather-Pacquiao
                    Bradley-Maidana
                    Brook-Thurman
