Did you see him school Chavez in sparring without using power? How about decisioning Dirrell in the amateurs? Listen to what Lamont Peterson says, theres a lot more there than powerCan't see why. I've said this on several threads and I'll say it again, take GGG's power away and you are left with nothing special. GGG is a C- fighter without his power.
Both Cotto and Canelo but especially Canelo have the experience and boxing pedigree to give Golovkin his 1st loss.

Yep, according to his fan base , Thurman's a hype job, Wilder is a hype job but GGG is the absolute truth. They're all unproven but I don't see Thurman mailing excuses to not fight some fighters at least.its true who has ggg beat regardless of how good he has looked. there were rounds when lowly stevens looked good against him. Im not saying ggg is a not a really good fighter but for how much his fans like to say other fighters are hyped ggg might be the biggest hyped up fighter of them all regardless if he pans out or notComment

Well Saul and company did say they'd do 150 so Floyd did them a 2 pound favor. Some people here complaining last 3 fights of Canelo were at CW (152, 155, 155). The one at 152# was requested by Floyd and how was that going to benefit Saul being the biggest fighter while being drained two pounds? The next two fights against Angulo and Lara were not title fights and were against two big SMW so agreeing on adding one more pound didn't mean much (I guess it must be more comfortable when you don't have to lose that extra pound and specially when no title was involved). So it is beyond me why people has to complain about the CW if both Angulo and Lara agreed and probably also found it was also comfortable for them not to try to lose that extra pound. And whether Canelo and Cotto fight, I don't think Miguel wants the fight to be a full 160 Lbs. GGG probably would insist on 160 Lbs. but GGG being as good and powerful as he is, he most likely would concede a CW against Canelo to level the ground.Comment

You can say that about any fighters defining attribute. "Take away so and so's defense they are nothing special." "Take away so and so's footwork or counter-punching and they're nothing special." Honestly one of the ******est arguments someone can make. And if you think that if you take away his power then he automatically drops to a C-level fighter, you're a dip****.Can't see why. I've said this on several threads and I'll say it again, take GGG's power away and you are left with nothing special. GGG is a C- fighter without his power.

He would have a better chance of growing wings and flying to the Caribbean for the winter than to win both those fights. He would not beat Golovkin heck, I doubt he would last more than 6 rds.Comment

I have to admit, there's really nothing bit the truth being said here.Comment

He's KO-ing Everyone Who Will Fight: Quillin, Cotto, Chavez, Ward=M.I.A.
So in the meantime he fights Top 10 guys in his division 3-4 times a year! How credible is that to stay sharp??? He's a very humble guy, who wants to improve, and none of the top "names" will step in with him but Canelo. Can't fault GGG. Canelo is a real man, machismo like Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr had. Love a guy that wars with the best. IF Cotto got by Canelo, he'd never fight Gennady; but Cotto isn't beating Canelo anyway.Comment
