The third fight between Mike Alvarado and Brandon Rios will take place on Jan. 24 at the 1stBank Center in the Denver suburb of Broomfield, Colorado, according to Todd duBoef of Top Rank, who tweeted the news on Tuesday evening.

This is a rubber match. Rios won their first outing by seventh-round stoppage back in October 2012, while Alvarado mixed in more boxing en rout to a close but clear decision win in March 2013.
