Comments Thread For: Stevenson's Promoter Reacts To Pascal Adviser Attacks

For several months, Canadian rivals Adonis Stevenson and Jean Pascal have been trading verbal shots. Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) is the mandatory challenger to the WBC light heavyweight crown, which is currently around the waist of Stevenson (24-1, 20KOs).

Both of the boxers are scheduled to return this month, headlining separate events. Pascal is back first, as he faces Roberto Feliciano Bolonti on December 6th at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

I feel bad for Michel, i feel like Haymon has completely hijacked his relationship with Stevenson and Michel has to put out the fires team Duckis/Haymon cause.

It was pretty obvious Michel had agreed to the Kovalev/Stevenson fight earlier but once again, the king of ducks (Haymon) ****ed that up.

Does anyone know the Pascal / Kovalev split?? I could see him getting 50/50 in Montreal because he is a big draw there.

I could also understand Steveson stance (he is the champ so 70/30 is all he has to give). When Pascal was champ I don't think he would have even offered him that, plus I think Stevenson already beat him in the amateurs.

Does anyone else think Bute pulled out of his fight to get a crack at Stevenson next year.

Not like Michel helped the situation when he argued with Pascal on twitter and made it sound like they wanted nothing to do with him

It's pretty sad when. Your defending a guy who pretty much replaced you with Al Haymon. That's the only reason Stephenson will fight cans for the rest of his career and boxing keeps letting him get away with it.

My prediction is that Stevenson will lose his motivation and get KOd by one of the cans he's fighting... sad. But, on the bright side, this is instant justice. Not all duckers get treated by the universe in the same way...

Sukhotsky only chance is survive early and pile it on late. I'm still surprised his fight with Braehmer wasn't stopped.... but then this dude went 12 close with joey Vegas.

To be fair though, Vegas is tough.... made Mekhonstev go the distance
