Junior welterweight Frankie Gomez could return to the ring sometime in February, Golden Boy Promotions matchmaker Eric Gomez told BoxingScene.com recently.

The East Los Angeles, Calif. resident has not fought since winning a one-sided 10 round unanimous decision over Vernon Paris in Indio, California on July 25.
