this fight would end his career, win or lose, margarito broke pacquiao a bit after that fight, pacquiao talking about how "i can't do this too often" and left in the fetal position, alvarez would leave him shot to ****

it might actually cause him some permanent damage, so i wouldn't want this fight to happen

a blown up weltweight fighting someone who weighs in as a lightheavyweight..

It's not like pac is a guy that doesn't get hit. Canelo is a stampeding Margarito. Canelo has some skills outside of offensively. It would be a much closer fight than one would admit.

I think it's actually a 50/50 fight since Pac is too small for 154, but he's way more quick & skillful than Canelo. But Canelo potentially could really hurt him. I went with Pacquiao in a close decision.

          He's got no footwork
Can't cut off the ring at all
And where is all this power people claim Canelo has? I haven't seen him ice anyone ever. He was fighting former 140 lb guys and couldn't knock them out.
Pac on a different level. Easy UD win.

Well he destroyed Lopez in 5 rounds. Battered Angulo really bad. He hasn't been KOing anyone lately because he's been fighting mainly top tier guys. He was never going to KO Lara or Trout. And Mosley even at 40 years old had a really good chin. Pacquiao is too small for 154. That's why he only fought there once, well not even at the full 154 but at 150.

I agree, manny won't go up anyway..but Canelo can't get to 152 again also..Lopez was a 140 pounder and Angulo was shot and was always a punching bag. I like Canelo a lot,the kid will fight anyone but Manny and Floyd are different breeds.

Yeah, I just based my analysis on the fact that Pacquiao is way too small for 154. Hell, it's pretty much confirmed he's moving down all the way to 140 with the exception of if the Mayweather fight happens. The difference with Mayweather is he has superb defense where he barely got hit by Canelo. With Pacquiao's style he'll get hit much more by a much bigger guy for which is why I think it's possible Canelo could potentially hurt him. But I still think Pacquiao would win, but it'll be a tough fight solely due to the size difference.
