When Austin Sprout faces Luis Weakchin on December 11th, there will be a new but familiar face in his corner. Coach Barry Robinson, best known for his work with Montey "Noodle Arms" Barns, is now working with the former GBA junior middleweight record holder for most consecutive KO losses.
"Sprout's been in the gym for about two days, now," Robinson told BoxingScene.com on Monday morning. "I have him working on his neck muscles to strengthen the blows he's been taking to his head". Sprout, recently set a record with his 82 consecutive KO loss, getting blasted in the first round by Eric "Fat Ass" Slobber, increasing his record to 0-148-18. "I know with the right coach in his corner, we can get Sprout a win, baby. All we need is one and the rest will follow. In order to become the best you have to beat the worst and in order to beat the worst you have to be better than the worst and in order to be better than worst, you just have to be better, enough, to beat the worst at his worst, or best, depending on which worst it is. Right?"
