Roach knows now Manny can talk all he wants for the press since Uncle Bob will hover over to protect his golden goose from Mayweather. Floyd's not talking because there's nothing to talk about. He knows Arum is blocking the fight that's why he asked PAC to make the fight without Uncle Bob (Uncle Sam's cuz).

I think this is what Roach is REALLY saying. He said previously that he feels Arum wants to save Floyd for last and that neither fighter is afraid of the other. If Pac is making it clear and is pushing Floyd to make the fight in this manner, it does 2 things. I puts the blame on Floyd for the fight not being made yet and it also puts pressure on Arum to do what it takes to make the fight.

Big difference between "Floyd wants Pac" and "I guarantee the fight gets made". Leon Love said the same thing weeks ago. He is still with MP. Same Watson said "Floyd wants Pac" 5 days ago, why have we heard no fallout about that? Floyd is keeping quiet now. Could it be he wants things quiet and doesn't want anyone spilling anything about the fight being being made? Seems more reasonable, seeing that Love and Watson haven't been threatened.

I love his skills as a Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Pernell Whitaker fan...and of course a Pacquiao fan. But to be a coward the way he is avoiding the fight like plague is really disrespectful in the sport of pugilism.

YOu know Arum was there even in the Muhammad Ali era right? And he is still ongoing. Meanwhile Freddie Roach as a trainer has been there since the Mike TYson era also and while Eddie Futch mentored him as a trainer...
