According you it's better to work on a Ferrari for less money than to work on a Nissan and then own the Ferrari lol. Except the title he is going for is about as relevant as Datsun is in the auto-industry now.

Please enlighten me to what it said.

I don't care what belt it is, if it isn't on Vladimir it doesn't matter because he is the champion. Kind of like Cotto being lineal MW champion... is he? Yes, but we all really know GGG is the real MW kingpin.

But hey, say whatever you need to say to justify a guy turning down the most money he'll ever make. Especially when it comes from the side that says it's all about business.

Haymon has a plan. What it is IDK yet but we will soon.

Like i mentioned on threads about others turning it down, that i deal with contracts everyday and some are big numbers but the stipulations are horrible. I dont know what verbage this contract had but if he turned it down and is t batting an eye at it then why should i worry about his finances. He obviously is happy.

And there is one title out there that Wlad doesnt have and thats the WBC. Gets you. Closer to him.

Haymon can plan whatever he wants and you can deal with the contracts. I'm a fan of boxing and I've yet to see Haymon make anyone a star or even close to it and I know it won't happen with how he does business. You're seriously going to sit here and tell me Haymon (who has failed one business venture in entertainment already) is going to do good things for not only his fighters but boxing after being told by the biggest name in boxing (HBO) to take his **** and leave? And not only that but he is now going to leave Showtime to go to NBC? That's like expecting the XFL to take over the NFL but they aren't going to be covered by ESPN or Fox Sports. Only fl*mo's think like this.

No only fl(0)mos worry about money. Like you are. A true boxing fan would be happy that 2 fighters are fighting for a belt but that isnt you.

And i havent seen roc-nation do anything, not one thing, in this sport but its a mistake not signing with them

All he has to do is fight somebody in the top 5 to retain....Beibut Shumenov is somehow in the top 5 and signed to Haymon....lol

Roc-Nation doesn't need to do anything in boxing for me to have faith in them. Jay-Z has gone from a rapper to a sports agent... Al Haymon was fired and is still running away from Jay-Z, only one of them is a super successful businessmen and it isn't Al Haymon. Jay-Z also has connections that Haymon couldn't even dream of simply based off of his name. Hell, using your logic why did Cano, Sabathia and other baseball/football players sign with Jay-Z, I mean he was never an agent until Cano was the first one to sign.

                  Right.
The pimp should fight Pascal -- the safest fight up there... I mean if he fights Kovalev he would get killed; if he fights Beterbiev he would get permanently brain damaged (but Beterbiev isn't even top 10)... But The Ring has BEIBUT SHUMENOV ranked at #5... Case closed...

Thats your logic? Other sport athletes?

Boxing is an entire different animal that the other sports. But hey Jay-Z can rap so thats enough for you.

                    Agree to disagree.

Jay-Z as I said also owns a clothing label, music label, owned an NBA team and is now a sports agent.

That's a much better resume than Haymon's who's best snippet is worked for Jay-Z and Beyonce, but was fired for stealing. I'm fine backing the much better business man, easily.
