Stevenson doesn't have the work ethic and ring IQ to trouble Ward much. He has a puncher's chance, but if Andre Ward has a couple warm up fights first, it should play out similar to Ward - Froch.
Kovalev on the other hand has shown he has a strong activity rate and ability to adapt over 12 rounds that could cause Ward a lot of problems.

This is very good I think.
However, Kovalev definitely wouldn't be chasing around a 50 year old who waited until the 10th round to throw a punch, and when the said punch landed: stunned Kovalev.
I voted Stevenson by KO. Ward is a skillful and dirty boxer but he has shown a fight from the distant past that he can be hurt by a much lesser puncher than Stevenson. Ward would be ahead on points but sometime in the 12 rounds Stevenson gets his killer punch in and that's the end of Ward.
