Pacquiao had a damn good year with three good wins including a solid wide ud over an undefeated pfp top 5 in the world in his win over Bradley and two complete shutouts over good fighters Rios and Algieri. He has stiff competition from Crawford, Kovalev and GGG who also had very good years and probably a few other good fighters as well. Different groups will pick different fighters of the year. Everyone will NOT agree on one guy as fighter of the year and that's for sure. We have some very good fighters fighting these days.

            Red k sent.

How dare you forget about King Cotto? King Cotto beat a prime Sergio Martinez.

King Cotto should be fighter of the year.

He's not though. Why are you saying this on every thread when it's not true?

I don't know how anyone can say Algieri was an impressive win. It was a cherrypick of the highest order - he had absolutely nothing.

Bradley yes, one of the best wins of the year. That alone should not get you FOTY. Especially as Pacquiao had already beaten him handily.

Crawford should get it, but pacquioa will most likely grab it..... do the fans vote for this accolade?

Crawford is and should be favourite. Roman Gonzalez should be 2nd, then Pacquiao then Kovalev.

Why doesn't Mayweather get a shout? 2 x over Maidana is pretty good.
