The Philippines No. 2 ranked super flyweight Daryl “Flash” Basadre has scored a sensational 8th round knockout win over previously unbeaten Thai KO artist Yosindaeng Jor Chaijinda in Kanagawa, Japan to grab the vacant WBC Youth bantamweight crown.
Boxing writer Rey Danseco reported that Basadre (14-1-1, 10 KO’s) sent Chaijinda (6-1, 4 KO’s) dropped the Thai three times en route to the 8th round knockout, making Basadre the first fighter to stop Chaijinda.
