I didn't see shady. I saw Beltran realize that he could lose by straight KO around the same time he figured out that he was too far behind to win a decision. So he eased up hoping to make Crawford overcommit. Kills 2 birds w/one stone: reduces his chance of being KO'd while giving Terrence an opportunity to **** up and hand him the fight.
